Hello, I'm Rachel (they/them). A queer, neurospicy immigrant with a dream of raising chickens and ducks someday.
Having not "fit in" most of my life, the audacity to live a life that's completely your own is incredible to me, in the very best way.
To exist as you are no matter what anyone else thinks or says, recognizing that you are never responsible for other people's perceptions...
People are going to judge no matter what you do. Or what you look like. Or how you live your life. So why not live the way *you* want to?
And the here and now? That's all we have. Not "10 fewer pounds from now," not "once you become this that or the other," not "someday."
Now.
Boudoir takes a little more care than the average portrait session, doesn't it? More vulnerability. More trust.
I have two goals with every boudoir experience: you're going to feel amazing, and we're going to make art together. Every pose will be demonstrated for you, and I'll guide you through it all. You don't have to worry about a thing.
Most of my sessions are held at The Bellingham Studio, a local gem in the heart of downtown.
Best things about the studio: big windows, thoughtful details, multiple setups, beautiful textures, plants everywhere, and complete privacy.
Future plans: I wouldn't be me if I didn't have big things in the works... Sign up for the Love Letter if you want to be in the know!
Get in touch, and we'll schedule your consult. Over the phone, I'll answer your questions and explain everything in detail. You'll select your artwork collection and decide if you want to pay in full or set up a payment plan (3-9 months).
We'll pick your date, and once the session fee and contract are taken care of, that date is all yours! You'll receive tips and guides leading up to your session to make sure you're prepped and ready.
We'll photograph your session!
Afterwards, you'll make an appointment for your reveal session.
During your (online) reveal session, you'll get to see your images for the first time, including your album design. We'll make any changes or adjustments to your artwork right there on the call.
Your artwork will be available for local pickup or delivered right to your door for you to hold in your hands.
What I mean by that is this:
I'm fairly flexible with dates, but I'm limited in the number of sessions I can take on. So, I may have 10 different dates in a month that you can choose from, but I wouldn't dare book 10 clients in the same month. I hope that makes sense.
You--and all of my clients---deserve my full attention for the full experience, and I'm committed to finding something that works for both of us. Send me a message and we can get started!
